Taste Workshop and Cooking Demo

More than a cooking demo, this interactive workshop will be presented by local Good Food Award Winning coffee producer, Gimme Coffee!, together with the winner of an interactive coffee recipe competition organized by wholefoodsmarketcooking.com. It will engage a small group of 30 in a cupping to learn how coffee is evaluated at the highest level, and what characteristics sets a Good Food Award winner apart from other roasters in both taste and production practices. The tasting will be followed by a demo of the award-winning recipe.

We invite all food entrepreneurs looking to learn how to build a business that is tasty, authentic, responsible and financially sustainable to hear from a diverse group of panelists that include the retailer, producer, distributor and e-commernce perspectives. Panelists including Brooklyn Kitchen's own Harry Rosenblum; Shan-Lyn Ma, manager of Gilt Taste; Good Food Award Winner Chris Forbes of Sour Puss Pickles; Whole Foods Market's local forager; Food Hub's director and more.
